My Nintendo now shows you which points are expiring, and when

A recent update to My Nintendo now shows you which of your feverishly acquired My Nintendo Points shall be disappearing over the next 6 to twelve months.

Your Points History page will now tell you which points are expiring on which date, so you can run over to the rewards section and spend them before they disappear. Those that got their first batch of points when Miitomo launched may start to see them expire at the end of September, so now is the best time to perhaps download that Twilight Princess Picross game for your 3DS before you’re left agonizingly short.

Nintendo has also extended the validity of Gold Points to twelve months, rather than the previous 6, giving you a longer time to build up a supply to get your hands on some of the more substantial rewards available. With new rewards going up monthly, there’s a good chance the perfect gift for yourself awaits in the near future.
