The Water Temple in the Unreal engine looks as beautiful as it is frustrating

This article originally appeared on Zelda Universe.

In the wake of YouTuber CryZENx creating various areas of Ocarina of Time in the Unreal 4 engine, it seems that everyone is getting in on the act. This time, user Albert Wesker has recreated the entrance and central room of the notorious Water Temple.

The lighting and water effects are absolutely stunning and Wesker has really brought the place to life, adding plant life to the seabed and tweaking the architecture to really add to the vibe of mysteriousness the dungeon always had. The end result makes the Water Temple look like a beautiful place to get increasingly angry in. (There’s always one key I miss. I could write a walkthrough for that game from memory I’ve finished it so many times, but I always miss that ******* key). Anyway, check out the video for yourself below.
