Breath of the Wild garners yet more E3 praise from Japanese developers

This article originally appeared on Zelda Universe.

E3 was over a month ago now, and yet the Breath of the Wild hype train is still rocketing along, full steam ahead. The game was nominated for three Game Critic Awards, eventually winning the coveted ‘Best in Show’ award, after dominating social media across the entire weekend. PlayStation President Shuhei Yoshida was also effusive in his praise for the game, and now his fellow countrymen involved in game development have joined him.

Japanese magazine Famitsu asked a host of developers for their most impressive games and announcements from the show and a dozen of those surveyed named Breath of the Wild, including Resident Evil 7 producer Masachika Kawata, Final Fantasy Producer Shinji Hashimoto, and Dragon Quest Builders Producer Horiyoshi Fujimoto.

The full list of developers and their choices can be found at Go Nintendo, but those that listed Breath of the Wild were:

Takuma Endo (Acquire President)
Goichi Suda (Grasshopper Manufacture CEO)
Masachika Kawata (Resident Evil 7 Producer)
Kazuki Morishita (GungHo Online Entertainment President)
Hiroshi Matsuyama (CyberConnect 2 President)
Yosuke Hayashi (Dead or Alive Producer)
Shinji Hashimoto (Final Fantasy Producer)
Hajime Tabata (Final Fantasy XV Director)
Horiyoshi Fujimoto (Dragon Quest Builders Producer)
Nobuyuki Okajima (D3 Publisher Producer)
Yoshifumi Hashimoto (Marvelous Producer)
Taro Yoko (NieR: Automata Creative Director)

That certainly is a lot of people! Hype for this game just keeps increasing daily, and we just cannot wait for this game!
