Fans of the Ocarina of Time manga series are getting a new Legendary Edition this November. The deluxe, two-in-one releases contain two complete volumes of The Legend of Zelda manga series, and will be printed in a larger 5-3/4” x 8-1/4” format, meaning you can fully appreciate the new covers and colour artwork included by creator Akira Himekawa.
The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition volume one, containing parts one and two of Ocarina of Time, will release on November 1, with a subsequent four volumes releasing bi-monthly. “We are very excited to bring fans The Legend of Zelda in a comprehensive new way with these collectible omnibus editions” says Beth Kawasaki, Senior Editorial Director for Perfect Square.
The news comes on the back of the May 27 release of The Legend Of Zelda: Legendary Editions volume 2, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages in Japan, which also featured new covers and artwork. As of yet, there is no news on these editions headed west to join their Ocarina of Time counterparts, so you’ll have to brush up on your Japanese if you want them in the meantime!
